The multi cultural musician and performer Mapumba, will be taking part in the HIFA Festival in Zimbabwe 2009. Working alongside the award winning director, Brett Bailey, Mapumba will be the musical director of the opening show of the festival.
The HIFA Festival takes place in Harare, Zimbabwe from the 28th April to the 3rd May 2009. This festival has been going for ten years and is a multi cultural celebration of the best of Zimbabwean arts and culture, as well as attracting international artists and performers. HIFA has a large component of training and outreach programmes that it facilitates throughout Zimbabwe.
